I was so saddened to hear the news of Caryn’s passing. I worked with Caryn at Monsignor Doyle for many years, and although she was never an EA in one of my classes, we enjoyed many conversations over lunch. Her compassion, kindness, sense of humour and wisdom are qualities I will always remember about her. She knitted each of my boys a baby blanket when they were born, and I will never forget that act of kindness and friendship. They were special gifts that we have saved.
I send my deepest sympathy to her family, who she treasured above all else. May you find peace and comfort in each other and in your memories of her.
(My youngest son Griffin would also like to send a hug of sympathy to his classmate, Zeke-Caryn’s grandson. It was so nice to see Caryn over the last 2 years during school morning drop-offs.)
